What is an LEI code?

LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) is a unique global identifier for legal entities, funds and also sole traders. The aim is for regulators and agencies of EU Member States to have access to data in one place via this type of identifier.
The LEI code is a 20-digit code that a legal entity must obtain if it trades in securities abroad or in Slovenia.
How to obtain

Name, address, tax or registration number of the legal entity.
