Solicitor: EU court not competent to hear Slovenia v Croatia suit

Advocate General Priit Pikamäe proposes for the EU Court of Justice to rule Slovenia's case against Croatia over its failure to implement the border arbitration award inadmissible, having assessed that the case is an international border dispute outside the scope of EU law and thus outside the court's jurisdiction. Tomaž Seljak appointed new chairman of Telekom Slovenije

The supervisory board of the telecoms incumbent Telekom Slovenije appointed on Tuesday Tomaž Seljak the new chairman for a full, four-year term. Seljak previously served as interim chairman following the resignation of Matjaž Merkan in mid-November. (STA)

Stocks slip as investors brace for looming trade deadline; European stocks close lower after report of delay to US-China tariffs

Stocks dipped on Tuesday as a looming U.S.-China trade deadline dampened investor sentiment. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 27.88 points lower, or 0.1% at 27,881.72. The S&P 500 also lost 0.1% to close at 3,132.52. The Nasdaq Composite dipped 0.1% as well to 8,616.18, dragged down by Netflix.
Investors also kept an eye on the Federal Reserve as the central bank kicked off its last two-day monetary policy meeting of the year. The Fed is expected to hold rates steady.
European stocks ended the session lower on Tuesday after a report that the U.S. will delay implementing the additional tariffs on Chinese goods scheduled for December 15. The pan-European Stoxx 600 was 0.3% lower at the closing bell, with telecoms stocks leading losses on a decline of 0.8%.
Valeo shares slipped 7.4% after the French auto supplier issued its mid-term targets and altered the measure for its profitability targets. Deutsche Bank shares slipped 0.8% after the German lender scaled back its revenue growth target. (CNBC)

FITO: Agromarket declared TOB for Fitofarmacija at a price of RSD 3,050 per share

Agromarket company declared official TOB for 33.9% stake at agro-chem. company Fitofarmacija, at a price of RSD 3,050 per share. This is light 4.8% premium over the yesterdays close. Agromarket already holds 59.1% stake in the targeted company. The process is to be closed on 30th December 2019. (Tanjug, Ilirika)
